Three things that will never be paid features

Verification A badge you can buy tells other members nothing. Badges depend on documents a reviewer checked, and money will never be part of that.

Reading and publishing research Anything published publicly stays publicly readable and downloadable. Charging later for access to work uploaded as open would break the reason people upload it.

Ranking in search or directory No paid placement. If someone appears above someone else it is because of the query, not because of an invoice.

And no advertising

Not as a slogan, as a design constraint. An advertising business model pays for attention, and a platform adjacent to mental health that optimises for attention ends up amplifying whatever upsets people most. Institutional subscriptions and a marketplace commission point the incentives somewhere survivable.
