For psychology researchers
Your work exists. Whether anyone outside your department knows it exists is a separate problem, and it is the one this solves.
General repositories were not built for psychology. They do not know what a preregistered replication is, they cannot filter by population or design, and they treat a poster and a dissertation as the same object.
Publish with a citable, permanent address
Every item gets a PsychologyOrbit ID and a stable URL, plus APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard and Vancouver citations, and BibTeX and RIS export. Articles, preprints, theses, posters, datasets, proposals and replications are separate types, because they are separate things.
Honest metrics
Reads count one person per item per day, not one per page load. Downloads count file retrievals. Internal citations are labelled as internal so nobody mistakes them for a journal count. Numbers that flatter you are worthless to you.
Rights handled properly
Declare which version you are sharing on upload: author-owned, preprint, accepted manuscript, publisher version or open access. Cannot share the file? Publish the record with its DOI and let people follow it. Link-only is always available.
Collaborators who match the work
Search by research area, method, statistical skill, sample population, language and country. The statistician you need for a multilevel model is findable as a statistician who works on multilevel models.
